Chemical composition:
It is composed of a high
amount of the chromium content that offers excellent resistance to oxidization. In
addition to the alloying elements, it offers excellent service to the reducing
environments. It has also some amounts of the nickel content makes it capable to work in
the wet chlorine environments. These Hastelloy C22 Forged Fittings can be exposed in the
mild mixture of organic and inorganic compounds. These forged fittings also offer
service in the environments containing oxidizing acid chlorides, formic/acetic acids,
wet chlorine, ferric/ cupric chlorides, marine water, and brine solutions components.
The Testing Needs To Be Performed:
Different tests
are performed on the forged fittings in order to get high-end products with 100%
reliability. The tests are performed in a stepwise manner starts from the material tests
and end up in the manufactured products. The tests are a metallurgical test, destructive
test, and non-destructive tests.
