Alloy 321 is a titanium austenitic SS having high corrosion resistance,
great pitting resistance and excellent strength at high temperature and strength. The grade
has phenomenal resistance to intergranular corrosion in the chromium carbide precipitation
environment. The grade maintains low temperature toughness and thus can be widely used in
the high temperature environment. The Stainless Steel 321/321H Flanges exhibit great creep
resistance property and cannot be hardened by any heat treatment since it can be done only
by cold working.
Some of the other general characteristics found in the grade are high
oxidation resistance at high temperature, stabilization in welded temperature and can
resists the stress corrosion cracking environment.
