These flanges appear to fall between both stainless steel grade and nickel
category at it has properties of both grades. These are developed to meet maximum corrosion
resistance to acidic environments and display superior resistance to SSC in the boiling
sulfuric acids. it has also resistance to general corrosion caused by sulfuric acids and
also to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. These flanges have great mechanical
properties in the nominal temperatures to hoisted temperatures up to 500 deg C. these
flanges are readily formable with standard fabrication and welding operations.
These are made by us in both hot and cold working operations. The hot
working process is recommended to achieve the desired resistivity, however, it becomes
non-magnetic in nature after the annealing process. The cold working operations are
performed to attain maximum mechanical properties while turning structure to magnetic in
nature. The industrial refining process is performed to refine its structure,
dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
The errors are being checked in the testing session that assures its
quality. The tests are IGC test, hardness test, mechanical test, tensile test,
radiography test, destructive test, and other tests demanded by customers.
