Product details Alloy 20 Pipe Fittings is an austenitic alloy combining with chromium, nickel and molybdenum content. These fittings are also known as carpenter 20 pipe fittings. The grade of fittings exhibits good resistance to corrosion in chemical containing environments and other aggressive media. Similarly, these are also stabilized with niobium content that resists intergranular corrosion. Furthermore, these show suitable resistance to various acids such as nitric and phosphoric acids. The fittings are also demonstrated good resistance to pitting, crevice and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
By means of traditional methods, these fittings are hot and cold worked. The fittings are hot forged at 2100 F and 2250 F. After its hot working these are annealed by at 1725 and 1850 degree F. The welding of fittings is performed via MIG, TIG and submerged arc welding methods.
Testing details Our quality examiners thoroughly examine the entire product on a varied level of production. These tests are like pitting resistance test, chemical analysis, flaring test, hardness test, mechanical analysis, flattening test. A further test is positive material identification test, ultrasonic test and IGC test.
Packaging details To prevent the products from rust and damage the packaging of the product is most important. By using standard quality of packing the products are packed in wooden cartons, wooden pallets and in cases.
